Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree/Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in accounting, preferably in a technology or consulting firm.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support business decision making.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial Planning: Developing and implementing financial plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and accounting standards.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Coordinating with external auditors and ensuring effective risk management practices.
  • Financial Management: Supervising and guiding junior accounting staff.
